Two books I've heard a lot about lately are Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, and The Omnivore's Dilemma.
Both books look like interesting accounts of how we -- er, most Americans, get our food. Anybody read either?Also, our garden, but more impressively, our neighbor's garden is producing: cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, apples, blueberries, raspberries, & rhubarb. That must be where everyone's at (in the garden)!
